Get to Know
Dr. Trent Neisen
Dr. Neisen grew up in Bird Island, Minnesota and graduated from BOLD High School. With his natural love for anatomy and biology, he knew that he wanted to pursue a fulfilling career in the medical field and make a positive impact in the lives of others. After shadowing a local family dentist in high school, he discovered his calling in caring for smiles and hasn’t looked back since.
He attended North Dakota State University where he earned his undergraduate degree with highest honors in zoology - health sciences. He then went on to become a Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, graduating with highest honors as 6th of 98 students in his class. After dental school, he completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry at A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona, where he began his training in dental implants, extractions, and advanced dentistry.
Today, Dr. Neisen is living his dream as the owner of Authentic Dental of Willmar. Gentle and approachable, he makes it a point to connect with his patients on a personal level, relate to their challenges, and create the most comfortable, individualized dental experience. He couldn’t feel more excited to partner alongside Willmar patients with trusted support and provide unparalleled care for his home region.
Outside of the office, you can find Dr. Neisen making fun memories with his wife and best friend, Hope, and being a loving father to his bundle of joy, Mila. He also enjoys reading (a self-proclaimed bookworm), learning a new riff on his guitar, preparing for his next half marathon, playing with his rescue pup, Nellie, and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings. Our office is equipped with best-in-class cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) and intraoral scanners. These advanced digital imaging tools give both you and our dental pros an in-depth view of your teeth, gums, and facial bones for the safest and most accurate treatment planning possible. For second-to-none convenience, we also use 3D printers to create stunning, custom-fit dental solutions.
