Peter Jorgenson DDS

Dr. Jorgenson has lived in central Minnesota for the majority of his life. He is an Annandale native and graduated from St. Cloud State University with a bachelors degree in biomedical science. Dr. Jorgenson attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in Minneapolis where he earned his doctorate in dental surgery degree.

Dr. Jorgenson completed the dental implantology training program at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2006. He completed his oral implantology board credentials as an associate fellow with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) in 2010. The AAID is the recognized national dental organization in the field of implant dentistry which issues dentist's credentials that provide consumers valuable information relative to a dentist's education, training, and experience in the field of implant dentistry.  Dr Jorgenson is one of just eight dentists in the state of Minnesota who have qualified for and completed board credentialing as an oral implant surgeon. Vicky

Vicky is our full time clinic director and patient dental implant treatment coordinator. She has 41 combined years as a license dental assistant and clinic director. Vicky has completed the dental implant treatment coordinator certification program with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. She received her dental degree from Minnesota West Community and Technical College. Vicky’s primary responsibility is to keep our clinic running smoothly with technology updates, financing discussions with patients, and answering questions regarding insurance benefits and dental treatment options. She enjoys all aspects of the dental profession, especially keeping current with the latest technology advancements in an ever changing healthcare industry.

 

Sherry

Sherry is a full-time key member of our administrative team and has an extensive background in customer service. As a patient advocate, Sherry can assist you with scheduling appointments, insurance processing, and making financial arrangements. Sherry’s “customer is first” focused approach will help to make your experience at Willmar Family Dentistry a positive one. 

 

 

 

 

Traci

Traci is a full time licensed dental hygienist. She received her degree in dental hygiene from St. Cloud Technical and Community College. Traci has a passion for working with people which is what lead her to pursue a career in the dental field. She loves the one-on-one interaction with patients and strives to help each patient lead healthier lives by customizing care to meet each individual’s needs. Traci understands the importance of keeping current in her profession and she does so by attending many continuing education courses. By staying current in the dental field, Traci is able to educate her patients and keep them up to date on all the latest dental trends. She strives to create a friendly, warm and inviting environment for all of her patients. 

 

Cheryl

Cheryl, having over 42 years of experience in the dental profession has reduced her hours here to enjoy being a grandparent and is now a part time surgical assistant. She received her degree from Minnesota West Technical College and is trained to assist patients with the highest level of care and knowledge. Along with her other areas of expertise, Cheryl has over 23 years of experience in surgical implant dentistry. Her experience in implant dentistry is an important compliment to our highly trained staff. She will greet you with her outgoing personality and will make your dental visit an informed and pleasant one.

 

Katie
Katie is a full-time licensed dental therapist with a masters in dental therapy she received at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Prior to that she attended Augsburg College where she received her bachelors of science in biology. She is passionate about dentistry and has been an active volunteer with Give Kids a Smile, Mission for Mercy, Ready Set Smile, and others. As a dental therapist and midlevel provider, Katie provides restorative services such as amalgam and composite fillings for our patients as well as providing all of the services needed for pediatric patients. Katie has a calming and inviting chairside manner that will make you feel comfortable at your dental appointment. She encourages patients, parents and caregivers to be active participants in their dental care. She will make sure you understand all options before treatment so that you are confident you’re making the best dental decisions for you and your family. Katie loves to spend time with her family. She grew up in Minnesota and spends a lot of her time bow hunting, fishing, and enjoying the great outdoors.

 

Grace

Grace is one of Willmar Family Dentistry’s full-time Registered Dental Hygienist. She grew up in South Dakota and went to Minnesota State University- Mankato (MSU) where she received her Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene. During her schooling at MSU she worked with Open door health center; a clinic for the underserved, Waseca Women’s Prison, and the Harry Meyering Center for disabled adults. Grace also recently spent a week in Belize where she provided dental restorations to the local children in need of emergency oral health treatment. Grace has an outgoing personality and will greet you with a welcoming smile. Grace’s top concerns are her patient’s oral health care needs. She will work with you in a team dynamic to ensure that your needs are met. Grace resides in Willmar and enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her nieces. 

 

Sofia

Sofia is a new dental assistant graduate from Minnesota West in Canby, Minnesota. She brings a unique trait to our team by being bilingual in Spanish and does all the translating for our Spanish speaking patients. Sofia is very passionate about her new career in dentistry and is enthusiastic about learning new topics in dentistry. She makes the patients feel comfortable and helps nervous patients feel at ease with her calming demeanor. Don’t hesitate to ask Sofia anything and if she does not have the answer at hand she will investigate and make sure you get a reply to your question.

BrandyBrandy

Brandy is a licensed dental assistant who graduated from St. Cloud Technical College with a degree in dental assisting. She has worked in general dentistry for the past 12 years. Brandy and her husband live in Willmar and have 2 children. Brandy enjoys challenges in the field of dentistry and enjoys complex surgical procedures. She has a passion for learning new aspects of dentistry and is excited to have joined our practice! In her spare time, she enjoys spending free time with her family and friends and loves to do home fix up / repair projects.
