Dr. Peter M. Jorgenson
Dr. Jorgenson has lived in Central Minnesota for the majority of his life. He is an Annandale native and graduated from St. Cloud State University with a B.S. Degree in Biomedical Science. Dr. Jorgenson was then accepted into the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in Minneapolis where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degree.
Throughout his career, he has actively participated in and is a current member of the MN Dental Association, American Dental Association and various Study Clubs. In addition, Dr. Jorgenson takes pride in the fact that both he and his staff are current with the latest dental technology and product trends.
Toward that end, in 2006 Dr. Jorgenson completed the Dental Implantology Training Program at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He is a general member of the Academy of Osseointegration osseo.org, a general member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry aaid.com and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists icoi.org. Dr. Jorgenson has completed various advanced surgical implantology and bone grafting certification courses.
Dr. Jorgenson is proud to lead the outstanding team of dental professionals assembled at Willmar Family Dentistry.
Vicky
Vicky is our full time Office Manager. She has over 30 years experience as a Certified Registered Dental Assistant and received her degree from Minnesota West Community and Technical College. Vicky's primary responsibility is to keep our office running smoothly and to answer questions or concerns you may have ranging from treatment to insurance. She enjoys all aspects of the dental profession, especially keeping current with the latest advancements in Dentistry. Ensuring our office is current with information technology updates in an ever changing healthcare industry is one of Vicky's primary functions.
Lou
Lou is a key member of our administrative team. Lou is a Willmar Chamber of Commerce Board Member and the clinic's patient advocate. She has a background in education, banking and customer service and served as Office Manager for an Oral Surgeon's clinic prior to relocating to Minnesota. As a patient advocate, Lou can assist you with scheduling appointments, insurance processing and making financial arrangements. Lou's attention to detail and customer-focused approach will help to make your experience at Willmar Family Dentistry very positive. Lou also serves as the clinic's community liaison and is very active in the Willmar Area Chamber of Commerce.
Lisa
Lisa is a full time Registered Dental Hygienist with a B.S. degree in Sociology from Mankato State University. After receiving training as a certified dental assistant, Lisa continued her dental education at St. Cloud Technical College where she received her Dental Hygiene degree. With over 15 years experience in the dental profession, Lisa's primary goal at Willmar Family Dentistry is to keep patients well informed about their oral health. Lisa keeps current with the latest techniques by attending continuing education courses. She enjoys one-on-one interaction with patients and strives to make them feel at ease during their dental visit.
Missy
Missy is one of our full time Registered Dental Hygienists. She graduated from St. Cloud Technical College, and strongly believes patients need to be proactive about their own oral health. Missy understands that every patient has different needs and concerns, and that treatment must be customized for the individual. She strives to create an atmosphere that is relaxed and encourages her patients to ask questions about their treatment and dental health.
Cheryl
Cheryl is one of our Certified Registered Dental Assistants and has over 25 years experience in the dental profession. Cheryl received her degree from Minnesota West Technical College and is trained and skilled with assisting patients with the highest level of care and knowledge. Along with her other areas of expertise, she has over 13 years experience in surgical implant dentistry. Cheryl will greet you with her outgoing personality and will make your dental visit a pleasant one.
Melanie
Melanie graduated from Saint Cloud Technical College and is a full time Certified Registered Dental Assistant. She enjoys the many facets of dentistry, especially implant and surgical dentistry. Melanie's natural, friendly nature will help put you at ease during your visit. She makes it a priority to alleviate your anxieties or concerns and help answer any questions you may have.
Tina
Tina graduated from Saint Cloud Technical College and is a full time Certified Registered Dental Assistant. Tina will greet you with a warm smile and help to make your visit at Willmar Family Dentistry a pleasant one. She enjoys the many aspects of chair side assisting and direct patient care. One of her many responsibilities includes patient communication for our post-surgical patients. Tina will share her enthusiasm while introducing you to our dental office.
